Trance music began emerging in the 80s. Most popular trance started acquiring in the early 90's in Europe, in countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and the UK. Initially trance was a soft kind of techno, but later it was separated into an independent style. The style was called this way because of the repetitive rhythmic melodies that seemed to plunge the listener into a trance. Trance may sound at dance events like open-air and closed parties at various venues. Trance is a very versatile and diverse style of music.
