Zulu Records. The record label Zulu Records was founded in Vancouver, Canada. The label Zulu Records was created in 1981. The founder is Grant McDonagh who was previously working in Quintessence Records. The artists released their tracks under the label are – Billy Bragg, Julie Doiron, Chad Vangaalen, Dean Wareham, Kurt Vile, The XX, Lou Barlow, Kid Koala, Jay Reatard, Grouper, José González, Hawksley Workman, Superchunk, The War on Drugs, Jonathan Richman, Rodriguez, Frog Eyes, Yo La Tengo. In 2011, the label started cooperation with a video store named Videomatica and to sell Blu-rays and DVDs. The main genre - indie rock. The artists supported the label - The Christa Min, Cub, The Cinch, Anemones, The Nasty On, Weed, Ali Milner, The Book of Lists, The Shilohs, Leviathans, Pink Mountaintops, Cowards, Baron Samedi, Connecticut, Womankind, Magneticring, Old Mutton, Blaise Pascal, Blues Crab.
